I have a small problem with my Sega Astro City. I put an SF2 board in there, and it's too quiet! Beyond that, I'm looking at the wiring schematic and it looks like it's only wired for mono sound, but it has two speakers(plus, I can't find where stereo sound is supposed to come from on the JAMMA harness). To make matters worse, when I toggle the speaker volume knob, it's crackling like crazy!
The speaker volume knob is hooked up to the PSU and probably powered off the PSU.
The PSU has a standard two prong output cable. would it be wise to instead wire up a small amp and wire the speakers to the amp?
