No sound via supergun

I recently purchased a supergun from D-lite which was designed to be able to run sound through a TV. Even at full blast however, no sound is coming out of my TV, I've tried two games, ESPrade and Dimahoo, on both mono and stereo settings and I still can't hear anything. Can anyone help me out?

I forgot to post that I resolved the problem last night. For some reason the sound works when I plug the white RCA plug into the red jack and vice-versa.
