Hi, I've started a cps2 consolization project. All I've really done at the moment is replace the power source with one of Dlite's sc200 psus... I cut the main lead of the psu off, and used the wires from iniside the cable directly on the contacts using the labelling on the psu pcb and a jamma pinout. It powers up fine, but it seems to play a bit slower than it did before had it running off the sc200. Is it just my imagination?... Btw, for my soldering, I connected grounds to three pins (at least one on each side horizontally) and I connected the +5 and +12 to single contacts. Also, I have already taken the liberty of checking with a multimeter, and it all has as much power as is necessary (5v at +5, and ~13 at +12)
