Can anyone think of a way to get the water to flow back into the garbage can?, because then your not using all that water, so it's nearly maitainence free.

instead of using the force of gravity to push the water through the tubing ou can get a cheap $10 water pump along with the rest of the supplies. That way ur simply pumping the water through the tubing and back into the container. If you did this you could use something WAY smaller and more indoor friendly than a garbage can but you would have to keep the water cold by doing partial water changes and adding ice.

Or you can save the $10, put a bowl of ice in front of a table fan, and chill out like real white trash.

Why not just open the windows and walk around without a shirt?

That's fine but I'd like to see you handle the fact that your neighbor has a home-made piss bucket air conditioner and you don't.

not worth it IMO

I heard that black people carried full sized air conditioners around on their shoulders.

The owner of my flat decided to install an AC in one of the rooms. The company who made it was so bad that there is a gap on one inch between the position of the AC and the hole they made in the wall to install it. I can see outside through it. With the summer coming and all the mosquitos with it, I wish my owner was dead

What it comes down to, is that if you already have a large fan, you shouldn't be bitching about heat.

We're not all gator eating, louisiana swamp children.

Some of us like it when our rooms are a reasonable 75 degrees.

In Miz-rah we have Opossum.

I ran over one on the way home from work :crying:

But yeah, if you're trying to beat the heat then just get some kickass fans and kick back in a pair of shorts.
