they cost a lot,new ( 6800 Y if remember correctly )

but can be obtained used for a much more reasonable price ( around 2000 Y - 15 usd or so )

i wouldn't mind buying them new,but fuck

not only you need to buy 2 or 3 or 4 dvds to have a complete set for every year

you only get to see the semifinals, finals,a couple of best matches and that's fucking it

for 6800 Y ????!

madness

You both suck.

And yeah, I want some SBO DVDS too, but I'm not paying premium for them.

That's a ridiculous price. I love tourney vids, especially ones done on real hardware. Many of the vids online are done with emus and that forces me to wonder if any of it is real or possible to do in an actual tourney.

Bloody hell, 6800 Y?

Ps. Go back to the warroom, Dash.

I always hesitated when I saw the ads on Arcadia magazine but since I don't like most of the games shown, the price tag is quite high (if you add the shipping).

I have downloaded the SSF2X final from Wes and I really appreciated each minute so perhaps I'll get one some days.

Probably easiest to search for:

闘劇

Looks like there's an auction for Vol. 3 (SamSpi Zero & CVS2) and Vol. 4 (SFIII 3rd & Vampire Savior) from the 4-volume 2004 season, and 3 auctions (1 - 2 - 3) for Vol. 2 (VF4 Evolution & Tekken 4).

Regarding the retail pricing on the Tougeki -Super Battle Opera- DVDs, the first release in 2003 consisted of 3 separate DVD volumes, 120 mins each, priced at 6090 yen. The 4 volumes released in 2004 were also only 6090 yen each, but the amount of content you got for your money was greater than in 2003.

2004 Vol. 1 (GGXX#RELOAD) was a single DVD, running 150 mins. Vols 2-4 were 2 DVDs each, with running times of 200 mins, 360 mins, and 360 mins, respectively.

BTW, the first Tougeki DVD for the 2005 season goes on sale in Japan at the end of this month:

Tougeki '05 SUPER BATTLE DVD Vol. 1
6090 yen
06/30/2005
2 discs
470 mins
GGXX#RELOAD & KOF NEOWAVE
