Well, right now I'm running the 3200+ 754 setup and I've got my eye set on a X850XTPE PCI-E. Then in a few months I'm buying another X850XTPE for a crossfire setup. My old motherboard that I've been running for about a year died, so I replaced it today with
this one. It has a 16x PCI-E port and an AGP port. This was just a temp board until I could find a X850XTPE for a decent price, but now I've sold my 9800 Pro before I could get a PCI-E card and now everything's all screwed up. The spacing of the ram slots from the chip socket doesn't really let itself very well to a water cooling setup which is next on my list...
My thinking is this crossfire'd x850xtpe setup will be bottlenecked by my 3200+ chip, so I think I'll just upgrade to an FX 939.
It really depends on if my brother wants my current AMD setup. If he does, then I'll be selling his 3.06 hyperthreaded Intel chip, motherboard, and ram.
The motherboard died in Feb. and I've just gotten around to fixing it. So it's been bonded for 4 months without use.
