While there's no doubt that looks insanely futuristic, I'm not that entirely "awed" by it. Its more of a "Wow, thats cool" than "Wow, thats going to change the world".

So were the glass pieces holding information or just being used as screens with ids that point to the info stored in the main unit?

Wow, that looks nice.

I've never seen that before... anyone want to verify its authenticity?

The closest technology I've seen to that is a paper-thin, clear plastic sheet that can be used as a single color LCD screen.

Thats what I was wondering. If those squares had the data inside them, then that'd be a lot more impressive. But as it stands, it appears as though they contain only a small amount of data necessary to activate whatever application they're for within that larger unit. The thing with viewing the baseball players profile and then adding a second square to adjust the stats like that was pretty impressive though.
