If there was ever a fighting game I would need pointers on, it would be this one. Oddly enough, my trouble is being anything but cannon fodder with the Red Earth characters. I mean, they seem both slow, not powerful, and seem to get eaten up by much of the "other game" cast, when I play them. The main exception is Kenji due to his manuverability, but even he pales to me playing just about anything not Red Earth. Leo is a real sore-spot for me, as I can't seem to find anything redeeming about him. I'll probably chalk this up for my lack of experience with these guys in comparison to everybody else, but I definitely need help with this guy if they really do have hidden features that make them good. The darkstalker characters seem to be the easiest to take a major chunk of damage off, for little effort, thanks to the chain combos and down attacks. The game might even be tiered towards them. Demitri is just plain evil, in this game. I just plain hate fighting against him because it's like going against a major Jam player in GGX1 but with a Capcom lifebar and damage system. It's almost unfair how he can press the attack with so little openings until he finds one thing you didn't block in what he throws at you, and it's combo heavy damage city. Especially since it doesn't matter what height he hits you, you're going to get the pain of his followups, plus a guarranteed down attack around every corner. Pyron loves exploiting the blue wheel of cheese, responsible for more high block damage deaths than anybody combined.
