That is a terribly informative post.

How about some actual details.

Like...what the bluescreen message says?

Then about your OS version and hardware listing.

LOL... it dumps my memory and says alot of random numbers and letters.. i cant read it all before my computer restarts.

Windows XP Pro
AMD 3200+
512 ddram
Nvidia Geforce 5600
2 Maxtor 80 gig Drives

It was custom built.

I only started having this problem after I reformatted my machine last week.

I've had that happen to me a couple of times. Once it was due to bad ram, once i replaced it the problem went away and the other time was when i overclocked my cpu and windows xp thought i was trying to install the os on another system. Windows xp does that if you change the hardware too much

Might be a memory problem. Try Memtest86.

http://www.memtest86.com/

Edit: There's a new motherboard out that has memtest86 built in! Can't remember the manufacturer though...

A chick just asked me to sleep with her(shari).....however I also have a potential girlfriend(Jackie) that will be hurt if she finds out what im doing. Not to mention that if i dont sleep with this girl (Shari) she will tell my potential gf (Jackie) that Ive been cheating on her, out of spite because I did not sleep with her. What the fuck do I do?

Agp drivers (possibly related to the fast write issue) so try setting your AGP speed at 4x and turning fast write off.

Then again it also sounds like you could have some bad ram or you need to loosen your ram timings.

It could be that you don't have an adequite power supply in your computer (I hope you're at least using a 450w supply in that machine...seriously)

Is it overclocked?

Did you ever touch anything in the bios settings?

The underlying cause of your problems could be any one of those issues or a combination of them.

Good Luck.

If he had a bad/inadequite psu wouldn't the pc just reboot randomly and not go into the blue screen?

I had a bad motherboard that would send my pc into the blue screen, it was an MSI.

It can, or an inadequite power sully means the machine will be fine during moments of low cpu usage, but the second the resources of that machine start really being used it become erratic and unstable.

Leading to constant BSODs or even causing permanent damage to the components.

My computer did something similar when I installed my DSL software. All it took was for me to remove it and everything went back to normal.

More details, plz.

Such as which motherboard and power supply.

If this just started after a format and clean install, it stands to reason that you might not have installed chipset specific drivers (like if its a VIA chipset based board) for your motherboard.

The devil is in the details.
