For example I go to Rinkya.com and I type snk or whatever and you see pics and you click them.

Once however I went to google and typed marvel superheroes and the item number on the VHS box, the video is a guide on how to play and there was a japanese link which came to yahoo JP and there was shit I never seen.

can somone PLEASE give me a link to yahoo JP where I would type SNK or garou or whatever and lists like ebay would come up. As I take it in Rinkya stuff must be limited.

As I remember I was looking for a street fighter music CD and I searched on rinkya and never found it. I mentioned I was looking for this CD and someone here gave me a link and this link went to yahoo JP. I saw a whole heap of shit not seen in Rinkya, so can someone please help me.

You can only search on Yahoo Japan in Romanji letters if the Jap Guy who put up the Auction also wrote in those Romanji letters, which is highly unlikely.

The only search that works for me over there is "MVS", because the Jap guys put in those Romanji letters in their auction headers.

If you're looking for SNK stuff, you can try this search I just created. It has a lot of watches in it, but it also has SNK items as well.

In order to search Yahoo Japan auctions, as Dark Andy said, you need to use Kana, not romanized words and phrases. The only time romanized works is if the item has a romanized name to it.

The easiest way to search for yourself is to search Rinkya then locate the Kana for whatever item it is you are looking for.

As an example, let's say I'm looking for Divergence EVE (anime). I click the Divergence EVE All Items link. Now, find an auction, say this one. Now what you do is copy the Kana version of what you are looking for, in this case, ダイバージェンス・イヴ. Next open Yahoo Japan auctions and in the search bar (you should be able to figure out which is the search bar) paste ダイバージェンス・イヴ into the search, and click the search button. You are presented with a page that looks like this. Obviously you can't see what anything other than the featured items are, so what you need to do is click on the button that looks like this タイトルと画像 . The button is located just above the button that says STORE. This button gives you THIS view, which is as close as you will get with going through YJA.

This way you should be able to locate just about anything you want on your own.

With Anime it's a little easier as the Encyclopedia at Anime News Network has the Kanji/kana listed for a series. I'm not aware of anything like that for games and such.

Also, if you buy through Masato you can ask them to provide you with a link to auctions. Just email them and say "I'm looking for all things Garou Mark of the Wolves" and they should be able to get you a link for what you are looking for.

Hope that helps.

edit- for some reason even when using similar words and such, Rinkya searches are often stifled and missing items you would find doing the SAME search through Yahoo Japan. Weird.

Also, I've been using Shopping Mall Japan for my YJA buying needs. The prices are a shit load better than Rinkya and the exchange rate is less skewed in SMJ's favor.

If I find a JPN translator and type fatal fury will it convert it into that word or not and if it does, does it still have the same meaning

No. More than likely it won't translate it to the Fatal Fury you are looking for.

You have to find the Kana/Kanji, and I don't know that a translator will get you what you need (assuming you're talking about Babel Fish or something).

Save beelzebubble's post as a bookmark and you can search FF whenever you want.

and if there are more I will ask you, thanks in advance
King of Fighters. No need for Kana on this one.

And here is another one for King of Fighters. This one uses Kana and has a lot more results.

Kana search for Street Fighter.

I already gave you a link for SNK. SNK is SNK in Japanese, and as far as I've ever seen they don't do Kana for SNK. The link I gave you also eliminates some of the watches that show up when you search.

I'm telling you, if you don't want to ask for links, use Rinkya to search, find an auction with the Kana and then go to YJA and paste it into the search. It's surprisingly easy.

EDIT- bookmark those searches for later use, as they will work forever and take you to the auctions with the gallery pics next to the auction name.
