I just purchased a copy of Money Puzzle Exchanger. When I tried it out, the sound was mildly garbled. I cleaned it, still no fix. I opend it up, three burn marks on the bottom PCB. I think they are burnt traces, but I'm not sure. I would be willing to pay someone VERY fairly if they could get this cart working or could tell me who can. Thanks!

You could bridge the burnt traces by soldering new wires at the end of each trace.

I don't think I have the skill to do it. I don't want to screw up my MPE. THIS JUST IN! I put it in my 4 slot again and the sound has cleared up. I turned it of and on, and reinserted the cart and its still good! I am not sure this problem is fixed though, so I'd still like any advice I can get. Thanks!

Eddie: Did you clean the edge connectors? This tends to clear up a number of problems, sound being one of them.

The game has cleared up, and I haven't had any problems since, so it might just be flux. One of them is really black though. Can burnt flux get quite black? I'll try to take a pic, but I don't think my camera will get that close. Thanks for your help so far everybody!
