I know this is a neogeo board but I think that a 3rd strike forum would be nice. :kekeke: We could sticky threads dedicated to each character where their strategies would be discussed. hum?

I dont think the mods would do that, although a suggestion might be to have a Non-Neo gameplay section. That way all the Non-Neo stuff already in gameplay and the online forums could be moved over into it...with so many 3rd Strike fans on this board it could become an unofficial 3rd Strike forum.

Maybe an 'All About SFIII3rdStrike' sticky thread could do it for us, no?

Probably in Gameplay?

SFIII has no soul the graphics are errr......animated?

but they dont' even look right. Everyone hyped this thing up and then I played it and said ugh, animated with lots of frames, but I can't say it looks beautiful in motion ala LB2, it seems like it's a mish-mash of bad character design with an awesome fighting system-but terrible aesthetics

That's what I'm talking about. This would fit great in a 3rd Strike Forum.

Here's my case, I was kinda just venting there.

I always heard the game was "godly looking" but I played it and was underwhelmed, thats all it comes down too really. I just didn't like it. I really thought I would.

My case with Last Blade there is that I feel as though the graphics (which are pretty good, I don't think anyone is arguing with me there) all "fit" together. In 3S I love the way it plays and I still play it online and practice offline quite often (I suck, but am getting slowly better). But it feels like a mishmash of ideas.

Maybe I can't put into words how I feel about it quite clearly...........oh well

Instead of a King of Fighters forum, change it to simply a Fighters forum. Already got a shooters forum and KOF series isn't the only fighter on the neo ( nor the best IMO ).

EDIT: I'm taking this post to the threads.

I understand you there.
There's absolutely zero aesthetic unity.

Last Blade's characters all fit together aesthetically.
Street Fighter has never fit together, though. SF's cast has always been weird (Blanka, Dhalsim, etc).

What if the KOF forums were organized the same way as srk's forums with each character having his own thread?
