Kevin Garnett to the Warriors... the Warriors will keep Baron Davis for sure, and maybe JRich as well.

You heard it here first.... (to my credit, I called the Baron Davis to GS rumor before the trade happened)

If they don't give up Richardson or Davis, then who would the T-Wolves want? Calbert Cheaney? :kekeke:

:(

If they do do this trade though, hope they get the better deal. Young, enthusiastic team. It's the first time in about a decade I remember Warriors fans excited about their team. Maybe I can stop cheering on the Kings and support the hometown :multi_co:

Heh.

Here's what I'm being told:

-Troy Murphy (6 years 58 million)
-Mike Dunleavy (1 year rookie contract)
-Mickael Pietrus (2 years rookie contract)
-Possibly the 9th draft pick
-Possibly Adonal Foyle (5 years, 40 million)

You're not going to get exact value for value with KG. But this might be the best offer out there. Murphy, MP and Dun are all good to very good young players.

Again, this trade is being discussed, but we'll have to wait and see what Kevin McHale says.

Don't forget, Chris Mullin raped the Hornets Baron Davis for Speedy Claxton and Dale Davis.

BTW, Cheaney yesterday exercises his 1.6 million player option. He'll be back for GSW

One question, though... Why would KG throw everything away to go to a bad team?
Aw well, as long as it isn't the Clippers, I suppose...

LMAO.

Have you seen the Warriors March onward? Since they acquired BARON DAVIS they have been playing extremely well, and all scouts and NBA personnel believe the Warriors are a playoff team this coming season.

You throw KG in there with Baron and JRich -- you're talking NBA Finals. Believe me, Kevin would love to roll with Baron and Jason. That's a dream trio right there.

Quoted for truth. Warriors have been a beast in the last part of the season. Played with so much heart, and the fans were ecstatic. When was the last time you saw a Warriors team get a standing ovation?

If they get KG, the Lakers better hope they get Phil Jackson back.

That still won't help the Lakers they have no talent besides Kobe. Also the Zen did coach the Bulls with Jordan and Pippen and LA with Shaq and Kobe so you can't really vouch for his coaching skills. I'm not saying he sucks just a bit overrated.

Yeah, I've heard all the arguments. I'll give Coach Jackson the benefit of the doubt until he follows through and takes over a team that isn't completely overbalanced in terms of talent.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to watching the Warriors and Rockets next season.
