XBox360 HDD upgrades to be available from Seagate.

Seagate, manufacturer of the embedded 20GB HDD of the XBox360 will make available HDD upgrades of 40,60 and 80GB .

The 2.5 inches drives will be specialy crafted for silence and use verry little power to reduce temperature emission in the small xbox360 case.

I guess microsoft is trying to compete with SONY in the Broken Hardware dept.

Maybe Dodge can do the assembly

seagate hard disks are well noisy, and slow, they need to be made quieter anyway

(slow except for the 15KRPM SCSI ones that is)

I like Seagate drives. Many manufacturers (even WD) don't make their hdd up to the spec they claim. Seagate always does. An example is security ATA mode doesn't work on a large percentage of drives that say it will, simply because fe people use it, the company doesn't bother to make sure it works right.
