As I have a GOLD scart lead on my PS2, X-BOX and Game cube.

Now I would put them all in the box BUT the scart that does into the TV would be SILVER, would the pic still be crystal clear RGB or what ?

Yes, I didn't buy a gold plated scart on my consoles for nothing, all I want is a serious answer or point my in the right direction

Hahahaahahahahhaha Gold plating....

The ammount shielding is 10x more important than the plating of the connector.

The only difference in a Gold and Silver lead, is that Gold is a better conductor for electricity. Many cable manufacturers use this gimmick to sell the same cable at a higher price.

But what I think that he is asking, is that he has three gold plated scart leads running into a switch. And the scart plug that runs out of the switch to television has a silver lead instead of a Gold lead.

If this is the case, them it would depend on the quality, and shielding of the switch itself.

the 3 in one box would probably negate any benifts of the gold plating.

IF your an anal purist, you should just use OEM cables and connect them everytime you want to change systems.
