naomi sound issue...

well, I was playing project justice and in the background this weird noise came up once during play. Then it went away and the sound of my characters voice was getting lower and then back to normal and then lower...

any ideas?

I'm going to presume you have both from your answer to my question. I wouldn't think that it would be either the Capcom I/O or the Sega amplifier if it is one specific sound effect that is changing. I would think all the sound would be effected if were one of those two. I was just asking for clarification of which you were usnig.

If it continues, I guess you could always pull out the cart and reseat it to see if that helps.

lol, sorry...yes, I am using both, but the sound only goes through the sega amp.

I will check the wires and maybe the MB and cart need a quick cleaning.

The music and sound effects are all fine at all times and the voices are fine when it's not in match.....and the voices sound perfect in the match about 25% of the time, but mostly just a little quiet, but sometimes you can't even hear it.

Hope that is a bit more clear :D

I guess it would be better to say when this all started...

I hooked up the neo GD-Rom to the motherboard when the motherboard had the wrong bios in it. It seems that ever since then, it's been doing this.

Could I have messed up something in the bios? Because I have a new one on the way.....or would this be something in the motherboard that will make me buy a new motherboard all together?

Dunno... my naomi setup isn't done yet :oh_no: (and I have no friggin' games yet  ) But I wouldn't think that the bios would cause any problems like that... that sounds more like a problem with the sound amp.
