Creepy, but not as creepy as hearing 911 calls where people are killed on the phone. The internet lacks a "personal" aspect that just can't send a chill down my spine, even when it comes to something like this.

Regardless, it's unfortunate that this happened, and I hope that things like this don't become commonplace.

Oddly it's almost the opposite for me, it's funny, we've become so wired that we live a great deal of our life online. I guess I feel more compassion towards someone who stumbled on his site and just typed out a few annoyances. I guess I can relate to that, I could see that happening... more so than I can place myself in a burning skyrise as it was about to collapse. As for it becoming commonplace, well... violent crime is always going to be a common thing, I guess, perhaps, it just appears now that even if you are alone it doesn't mean you are going to get away with it... All and all, it kind of rings home for a lot of Internet dorks I would imagine.

I'm not even talking about phone calls from the 9/11 attacks, but I suppose you could lump those in there.

Honestly, I hate seeing things like this in the news, because it just further reinforces the fact that we're slowly becoming more and more disconnected from reality.

What's even creepier is the fact that I may or may not browse neo-geo.com while naked and stroking myself.

I doubt you'd be the only one.

this just occured to me,

i don't want to make this tragedy seem funny at all, so don't get me wrong.

this whole thing reminds me of something that would be in an resident evil, or silent hill type game.

just enough info to creep you out.

That's fucked up. Do you see now why I hate people? Not all people, just the crazy ones. It's getting harder to distinguish between the crazys and the nots, so I'm just cutting all ties...

Well, c'mon man - if you're in the middle of a stroke session but you get a feeling that you're being flamed at n-g.com ...

Really, what can you do??? Wait until you bust a nut and THEN send a return flame???

I don't think so ... :shame:

Well, look at a shot of the killer. This guy looks like he's with the Triads or something. There has to be some bad history to this guy if he's able to stab a bound, helpless individual multiple times in the chest with a butcher knife, then stab his ex-girlfriend repeatedly in the throat with the same knife.

Them damn Cantos. Always getting in trouble.
And yeah, he's dressed rather posh for a killer.

Stories like this are why I will ALWAYS be for the Death Penalty, no matter how my political preferences change.

Give this guy a public hanging, maybe it will scare the fuck out of other people who think about doing stuff like this (doubt it though).

I don't know if you guys belive in the supernatural (If you don't, fuck off. You live a narrow, shelterd life.) but I can imagine that kid's ghost, forever working through an endless loop, doomed to keep trying to finish his japanese homework.

Really terrible story.

A Couple weeks ago I saw the headline, but I didn't read the weblog. I feel really bad for the victim and his sister, the brother was pretty much innocent and just wanted to get to work. So sad.

- Edit

Just realized, the poor guy never got to see Episode III. Say what you will about the film, but one of those posts had him reallllyl excited to see it. He said he couldn't wait for the 19th, and he died on the 12th. :crying:

I feel so bad for him
