CALL for DEAD Turbo/PCE Duo systems

This isn't really a wanted thread, nor is it a tech thread, so I'm leaving it in here to get a broader audience.

Yeah that's right, I'm hot on the trail of the problem with these, specifically with the sound although I might have found a bit of a way to fix CD issues too.

So, if you've got a Turbo or PCE Duo that has faulty soundtrack audio (Redbook audio), this is what I'm most interested in seeing. Your Duo should meet the following description:

- loads and plays CD games fine
- no music heard, only in game sound effects; sound may be scratchy or die out over 1 hour or so
- CD drive isn't making loud noises (although these might be good too)
- HuCard music may or may not work too

Really I just need to get my hands on some to test my fix on more units. In terms of what's in it for you, I can either fix it or I can't. If you want to unload it if it's not fixable, we can come to an arrangement. If you want credit towards another system, that's doable too. If it can be fixed, you pay a nominal fee to be determined. (like $10 plus shipping it will probably be).

I got a busted Super CD-Rom II if ya want it.

I know it's not a... Duo but i don't need it any more at all.

Perhaps on the SCD2.
