The Better Donut: Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' Donuts?

Healthy food be damned, when I eat donuts I go for:

I think the Krispy Kreme is just horrible... it's like someone dropped a sugar glazing NUKE on the whole batch of donuts, and the dough isn't moist and delectable like the ones from Dunkin' Donuts...

I frankly wasn't all that impressed after all the hype surrounding Krispy Kreme elevated it to the status of Donut Ambrosia.

Dunkin > Krispy Kreme, all day, everyday.
KK's donuts are an absolute gut bomb, I mean, donuts are shit for you, but those take it to a ridiculous extreme, packing so much glazed sugar and grease it's kind of an engineering marvel. Blech.

There's a place in town called Butter Krisp.

That's the best. They also serve White Castle-esque little hamburgers, too.

KK , the original probably was something to behold pre High Fructose Syrup era.
DD is not what it once was but there is no doubt in mind it contains more real ingredients than KK.

That sounds like heaven. I really want to try a Hawaiian style donut. They were showing this stand on the travel channel and the fried dough looked fantastic.

I really have to be in the mood of KK just b.c they are so glazed filled that after 2 you feel sick.

Dunkls coffee on the other hand is far greater than Kristpy Kreme's

Krispy Cremes are best when hot. Once they cool down though, they're like stones of lard :make_fac:

Dunkin Donuts I voted for because it's all about the variety...more flavors and choices ;)

KK is too sugary. Dunkin' is great, but there's no more around MN anymore. Bosa has left too. :crying:

I don't really like donuts (or pastries in general), but I will admit that fresh, original glaze Krispy Kremes hot from the assembly line are delish, especially with cold 2% milk.

Donuts are one of those foods that look great but taste pukingly horrible. They are bad for you, are made out of mostly sugar, and have no nutritional value.

theres a place in costa mesa called DK Donuts not sure if they are related to dunkin or whatever but they have always and will always be my favorite donut. they even have a drive thru.

i hate krispy kreme i had them before i knew they blew up and i didnt even know they blew up til they were on the news and everything i was like wtf they talking about the same crispy kreme i remember? i used to eat them alot in vegas excalibur hotel has one in the food court. anyway i went back and tried them again thinking sonething changed and nope same boring donut.

dunkin is old school and good so i voted it.


btw donuts are either the #1 and #2 worste food in the world you can eat. katchup is up there too. we know this. coming in and saying they are gross and unhealthy is like telling a hobo that laying in garbage isnt good for you.

Dunkin Donuts > KK

Although this is a Dunkin Donuts dominated area so I might be a little bit biased. (there's at least three in my town)

I cant pick either options...as Ive never been to those donut places. I dont know if we even have them in our town. Nor do I own a PSP or DS.

I prefer "Tim Hortons". :D

Either one as long as they are fresh. Cold doughnuts are never good.

Im more a fan of eclairs or the chocolate dipped ones myself though, so glazed are kind of bleh.

Dunkin' Donuts own Krispy Kreme. I love how Dunkin' Donuts are covered in glaze and aren't so damn small. But like many here I don't really care for donuts. My favorite treat is and always will be soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies.

Yesterday I went with my Gf to krispy kreme. I would say they are overrated just a bit i have had better Doughnuts at a place near me called Doughnut Magic.
