People are trying to make video games a complex artistic endeavor, and also are trying to get more women on board video games as a whole, whether it's playing them or creating them.

Yep, things were looking up. Then G4 goes ahead and pulls this embarassing stunt.

If there's one thing the video game industry doesn't need, it's the National Organization for Women and their feminist friends bitching about how video games is a boys club with buxom babes. Thanks, G4, for reinforcing old stereotypes. And if I watch X-Play and come across those ads with the Miss America theme one more time, I'll go nucking futs! :blow_top:

G4 is a network for 30 year old virgins, and nerds. Best thing to do is not take anything they do on there seriously, or avoid watching it all together.

lolz, good point.

Even though the shows more or less suck, i find myself watching X play to see videos of the games in action. Xplay is usually good about actually showing in game footage and not a bunch of CG crap. Adam Sessler and Morgan web=teh lame.

I like how Adam Sessler constantly brings of the fact that basically every RPG made after Final Fantasy 7 sucks, and how square as lost there game. :kekeke:

Morgan Web doesn't know why shooters have vertical black bars up and down the sides of the screen. :annoyed:

Any 'gamer' that spends time with that shit probably also reads Maxim for game reviews. What a waste of time, money, and bandwidth.

Thats practically blasphemy anyway as we know squares best RPG on the psx was Vagrant Story anyway.

Oh well, i miss the old tech tv before G4 ate it up.

Read his reviews, he his never given RPG outside of the Zelda series anything higher than a 3 out of 5.

Anytime Morgan reviews a game that has 2D graphics she automatically give it a 2 out of 5 no matter what it is.

I've caught a few episodes of G4. Conclusion: A misinformed, badly organized, poorly writted show with an incompetent cast. Their sole purpose it seems is to cash in on the poorly educated, equally misinformed, and misguided mainstream.

They're the Jehova Witnesses of video games.

Anyone remember how much less of a tool Adam Sessler was when he was on the show by himself, and the show was called "GameSpot TV"? I loved that show. It would start with him in an 'arcade' that was built in the studio playing something like Street Fighter II, then he'd just say "Welcome to Gamespot TV, I'm Adam Sessler, and today we have a review of X" He didn't act like a jackass, the camera angles weren't all screwed up, there wasn't a shot-change every 2 seconds and there wasn't that lame-ass Announcer guy.

It was just Adam talking about games. Then they had to get that big mouthed bitch Kate Botello (after they FIRED her ass from ScreenSavers) in the show, and it immediately started sucking.

I can't stand Xplay anymore. I didn't even like it when it was called Extended Play. GameSpot TV was where the show was cool. Though I am a fan of Morgan Webb's body. I'd do all kinds of fun things to it.
