I have 1 lived Darius R (GBA) in hard mode.

Since I got this game, 3 months ago, my aim was to make 10 millions points. I 1 lived the game several times in normal mode but I only got got between 8,5 and 9 millions points.

The point with this game is that you get most of your points at the end. You have a bonus for the lifes you have kept and one for the difficulty. I tried to play the game in hard mode to get more point and finally I 1 lived it using the A->B->D->G->K path.

My score: 10 241 200 points.

To be honest that the first shooter I 1 live.

Mission completed.

Never got a chance to play it, is it any good compared to the other Darius titles?

I haven't tried a lot of Darius games but it reminds me very much the version I had on SFC. It's pure old school.

Graphics are nice and the music has a good 16 bit touch (I like some themes very much). The game use the usual Darius system with 3 items: Fire power, Bomb and shield. You have 15 level (A from O) with the pyramid system (those who know Darius will see what I mean).

You'll find some bosses you have already seen like the big fish (A level).

Pretty nice old school shooter for GBA.
