I picked this up and I use it all the time (with Xbox/PS2/GCN hooked up to it).

I don't see any signal degradation on my JVC 51" RPTV. In fact, something like Soul Calibur 2 (720p) looks positively stunning. I can take some pictures later if you want :)

My hook up is Xbox/PS2/GCN -> System Selector Pro -> Denon 3910 receiver -> TV

I read on AVSForum that there is some signal degradation, but I don't see it with my eyes so it is great (unless you are an ISDF technician or something).

Check out Gamestop before you buy it for $100. I saw one for $80. It was the same model, but im not sure if it was a store special.

i just finished hooking it up, and wow.

i havent noticed any loss in quality, its great.

i really like the fact that there is no signal conversion, i dunno why, i just do.

my only complaints are that its hard to read the labels when theyre not lit up, and theres no dreamcast label :[

overall, definitely worth it.

i dont have component cables for my xbox/ps2/gc so i cant comment on that but, composite and svideo own.

the front port is a great feature as well.

and another feature that really surprised me was dual audio outs, so you can hook em up for svideo and composite.

The component works wonderfully as well. You will like it even more once you have that hooked up! Congrats!
