well. to be honest, the only fair thing to do would be reimburse the buyer asap and wait for the refund from UPS. Unfortunately, thats one of the risks of doing business.

I've only had 1 package ever go missing...... and I reimbursed the buyer after 28 days ..... and I had to wait over 1 year (about 1 year 4-5 months) to get my money back. I thought I never was going to see that reimbursement.

yeah that was with me and Dave was good with his word

shame it took so fecking long - think i received over 3 documents to fill in for the postal service involved

shame really as i had 2 good transactions with straitfromjapan

but it may help Robert if you remove Tiny May from the name of your paypal account, when i first sent you some money i thought 'hello' as its really the name that fronts your business via paypal and it also seems notorious nowadays

Well..... what do you owe him? $230 ro $400?

You will have to show transactional proof of the woth of the items when filing a claim.... so you most likely will only get $230. But regardless.... the refund keeps the customer happy .... as long as they get their original amount back.. thats all I was stating.

And .. there is a 1800 number if you can't get it to work right.

I don't remember exactly... but I think I had to add a new business address.. confirm it, make it primary, ... and then delete the old..

1st off.... I never dealt with a guy named Robert. I don't know who you are.... and it does irk me a bit that you flamed me at the beginning of this mess.... and you have not dealt with me. regardless if you have or have not seen my emails, you have not dealt with me (unless you are someone different). I have only dealt with Tina and Jason.... and not coming forth stating who you were at the beginning is somewhat fishy. I figured you were Jason .... or Tina. How do we know who you are .... or if you are Robert. How do we know your not Jason or Tina? HOW do we know that you are not actually Jason or Tina under the name of Robert. I am not trying to accuse here... but this is all very strange... it doesn't feel right. I mean, you made the original posts sound like I was dealing directly with you... and I never have.

I don't want anything faxed with your name on it.

You may be the one reaching out to fix this.... but you are identified with a business that messed over a bunch of people. And honestly, I think some people were mad that they thought you were Tina to begin with. On top of that, it took me MONTHS to get 1/2 of what I am owed from "straitfromjapan" not tina / Jason / robert..ewhoever. And if Jason is "so fair" why didn't he drop my refund in $$ or product from the beginning... instead of letting his "partner" pick up the slack? Thats not cool OR fair.

Just help Furious get his refund... in which ever way... and I am sure he'll leave you alone.

I mean.. hell... this whole thing has just become VERY weird.

Everything between me and Furious Anger is posted here. All he posted is gobbs of profanity while I showed everything pertinent to the transaction. He is obviously getting refunded, why wouldnt he? For the 4th or is it 5th time, it was never an issue.

Most sellers wouldnt address things on a forum like this but i have. Ive also made deals with people out of my own pocket that didnt ever involve me to make things right with them. I also made deals out of my own pocket to members on here who didnt have any problem with SFJ, just to show that most of this crap here is just piling on and BS.

Its not Furious.... whats weird is that your Robert, not Tina or Jason. Tina was still around (the time of) August - October of last year... so as far as being terminated 2 years ago.... that cannot be right. It is weird that you flamed me.... you cannot possibly know enough about the transaction.... and I will state again... I know exactly what is owed. As far as I am concerned.... it is sorted, not accepted though. It would be the same electronic inventory we would send to Ignition for price protection..etc

but its done... we are moving on...

hopefully everyone that needed refunds gets it.. and if not, it gets worked out.s

A lesson is here for online sellers everywhere.

If you value your online rep, be propmpt about refunds, and do not make the customer wait for carrier insurance to eventually pay out.

The Cost of Doing Business comes to mind.

The damage done here costs way more than that refund would have.

ok.... so if Tina was gone that long ago, why did you wait this long to settle things up? No one took me seriously until word got back that I posted this thread. I would have settled peacefully way back in September... even December. I gave many chances.... I gave another few weeks of emailings stating what I was going to do. No one took me seriously.

It took this thread, more complaints, poeople getting hostile...etc... for refunds to happen. I really hate doing this kind of stuff....

Also, jason did say that Tina was around back mid last summer.... but he decided to work things out with me. What is the truth on that? I don't know... I guess she was gone. but I DO know that I was dealing with her last april / may at the latest... I know that for a fact.

So if you own SFJ... what does Jason do? I was told he owns SFJ.....

On top of that... even Jason admitted that he didn't get many of my emails from Tina, so she wasn't CC'ing or BCC'ing my emails back to Jason. He didn't even know there was a problem until I found Superpang and got Jason's private email address somehow. WEEEKS went by without getting aresponse from Tina, is it a wonder that I liked emailing JAson and wanted to deal direct with him? That was called unethical for some reason...... I wasn't trying to cut anyone out of the deal... I was just trying to get good service. Heck, I even said I would pay through Tina ... I just wanted to talk to Jason.... because I got a response.

I just wish we could have done this peacefully.

But like I said... this is in the past... I am done now.. Its time that we all move on.
Its been too long of a time with this mess... refund has been received... so I am moving on.

Edit.... Jack Burton (member here... look at the other SFJ thread I started) said that his deal hasn't been solved yet.... he posted in the other SFJ thread/.

I emailed them directly again to see whats going on. Whomever I emailed a month ago said they would try to get me some of the games even though someone else was in charge then. I haven't gotten a response yet when I emailed them lately.

Still waiting.......
