The girl & clown is a classic, the shapes & colours used to fascinate me.

Thing is with 24 hour programing you dont often get to see these, apart from tech tweaking at odd hours.

Here is the 16:9 version

The O and Xs is OK for center convergence, Im looking for a high res version to copy and use as a workshop test pattern. I have a signal generator with X hatch etc, but this is a fun blast from the past :)

Do you have any high res RCA ones?

I want to use it as my Desktop wallpaper.

This is the best I can find, remember that the original dates back to the late 30s, so there would not be a high res copy of the original but maybe good screen caps.

For "political reasons" at the time, there are two versions, with or without the Indians Head, I prefer the one with.

In the early days of colour TV in the UK especially on BBC2 when programming was intermittent, viewers used to sit around watching the test pattern and listen to the 1 KHz audio tone

When the Aliens invade Earth, remember this thread. The RCA test card has more than meets the eye imbedded within.
