'88 Volkswagon Jetta. My parents bought it new in '87 and it came into my possession in '98. I finally let her go in '02.

That was a damn good car.

I'm taking lessons and will be driving by this summer, don't know what car I'll get. Because of my age the insurance will be in the region of £1000, yes about $2000. It will have to be a really cheap boring car if I'm to afford it and insurance.

The first car I owned which was totally mine, was a '85 Chevy Caprice Station Wagon. 5 liter 4 barrel carb, the ol' Chevy 305.

I paid $600 for it from my brother's girlfriend at the time's grandmother.

The scary part is that it was about 8 years ago, and I still have the car (though I also have a '95 Impala SS).

I'm 46 miles or so from hitting the 200,000 mark.

1 used engine later, several exhaust system repairs, front end replaced and shitloads of carb troubles later, it's still running.

On good weeks I get 19 MPG. Bad weeks, like winter when I let it warm up, 15 MPG.

'63 Ford Falcon.

Pimp shit, lad.

My best friend in high school had one. He restored it down to the little paper tags on the radiator hoses.

VW Golf II. from '90.

I bought it a little over a year ago and I'm still driving it. When I'm finally done with College, I can buy another one (more expensive, this is all I can afford now).

'91 Chevy Cavalier that was brought back to life after being exhumed from the previous owner's garage...

the car was the definition of Frankenstein's monster...it was green, had the interior put back together from various parts, and velvet upholstery (don't ask)

Currently looking for my first car now. There's a dealership by home that has 3 cars I'm currently thinking about: a late 80's model Jag, a mid 80's BMW and a mid 90's Camaro.

It's too bad I live in Detroit, my insurance is gonna murder my paychecks. (heh, not to mention the very real possibility of it getting stolen the freaking first week I have it. :oh_no: )

1992 Honda Civic Si.

0-60 in 7.5 seconds isn't bad for a car with 125 hp. ;)

White Honda Civic del Sol. It was fun to drive, liked by girls, and only had space for one other person- hello, no driving to lunch in high school!

I do like the CRX del Sols quite a bit, but I really like the CRX del Sol SiRs the most out of them, those suckers were pretty fast.

My dad's daily driver. Its the wagon and he has been driving it for 10+ years now since he restored it. Did all the work himself, even the paint job.

I'm still driving my first car, an '88 ford temo gl. Have had it for around 4 years now.

That's what I like to see. I don't understand restoring a car if it won't be driven daily.

Grandma's 1990 Blue Volvo 240DL. I loved that car to death I almost didn't want to sell it, but my driving record was shite for a while so I decided I had to let it go last year.

Yeah, my sister is driving a '60 Impala. Its her daily driver, my dad did a lot of work on it too. It could use a paint job (doesnt look bad, but not great either). Still definitely a sweet car.

Here am i stuck driving a $600 tempo :crying:

1974 VW SuperBeetle that I had from '86 to '88. It used to stall whenever it was cold and/or damp, and had very little power, but it was still cool. ;)
