Clearly he doesn't make enough money at his current job, so he comes here to try to cash in on people I have known for 5 years and respect.

He is scum and adds NOTHING to these boards other than an attitude and price gouging...

At least Kenny Boy adds something to the community...

Somebody change TonK's rank to "Gun Jumper". One selling thread does not a case make.

I don't think it's the first time datalogik has pulled stuff like that.

Either way, I don't care. (Even though I voted yes... :emb: )

Then I'd need to see more proof, I'm not going to go out and look for it myself.

I really don't see anything ban-able if somebody simply asks for more money on something they bought for less.

I'm not making a judgment on how ethical it is, its the free market.

Wouldn't the real idiot would be the person who buys at that price?

kill him. we don't need reasons - the fact is, hell must control population levels in order to maintain a barely liveable climate.

Voted No, free market, he can ask what he wants.

When the leaders start controlling the say so in market price is when a funny thing happends. It's called Communism.

regulated/fascist capitalism = national prosperity
free market capitalism = massive disparities.

voted no.

What's the big deal? If you think it's too expensive, don't buy it. Are we all so insane when it comes to blowing huge wads of cash on video games that we can't even be left alone to control our own urges?

Answer: yes.

In the spirit of this forum I'm voting yes, if only because I respect TonK's tireless crusade against people who sell video games and hardware at ridiculously inflated prices.

All in all, though, I could really care less. As it has been said, if you're stupid enough not to even bother cross-checking prices on eBay, go ahead and throw away money.

I do agree with TonK re that attitude bit, though.

TonK, if you want to ban all the people who have sold things here for more than they paid for them, you'll be banning almost every member of the site, including yourself.

Selling something for more money doesn't make him a KPJ jr. To be a kpj jr, he would have to include deceptive description and photos, to try to make you think he was offerring extra stuff that wasn't actually included with the item.

Anyhow, I've had 3 (or 4?) great transactions with Datalogic, and have no complaints. It's been pointed out to me that I probably paid $5 more than I needed to for an AOF2 mini marquee, but so what? I knew that, and I didn't want to wait to find another one. I'll live. Otherwise, if something is overpriced, I just won't buy it. Simple.

Meh, I hate the motherfucker... I had a flawless transaction or two with him as well.

Don't really care if he gets banned, I just want to give him an open backhand to the jaw.

Personally, I'd rather ban first all people that register in these forums and only use the Market section. I mean, I see it a as an aditional service for the members of this community, but it should not be the main reason for staying here. Either participate in the forums a bit or fuck off. If datalogik doesn't post outside Market, then ban him, but not for selling at high prices.
That being said I think the Marke should be viewable only for people with a certain number of posts and/or time registered, it would also help preventing some scammers and spambots.
