Looks like kernow and the EU crew is going to have to wait a while. :p

I don't think my cornish buddy, nor most of the europeans posting here give a damn about N of Europe, since It never showed any respect for us

also...who wants to get a PAL console? :make_fac:

Wow that analogy really helps. I can't believe they are that bad.

I think Nintendo is going the right way. They are going for the Holiday season they will get more than just early adopters. Hell people with a Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 would probably get one as a present or something. I like it.

That is fucking sad but true. Nintendo could be number one in the console wars again, but they are not going to put any effort in to anything, just look at the US DS market. Well I guess 3rd place is good enough for Nintendo, but they are crazy as hell if they think people is going to pay $300.00 for a Rom box.

Looking on the bright side, this will give me more than enough time to save up for one after buying an X360 and a PS3.

Oh who the hell am I trying to kid, this fucking sucks. Its almost 2 years away!
And what the hell is the point of releasing a console thats touted as being less powerfull than its rivals, roughly a year after ther last one comes out?

I know Nintendo fanboys will try and argue the whole "but its innovative man" angle. But seriously, that shit just dosent wash in the real world.

I don't think we should speak so soon. We still know next to nothing about the system. The market that nintendo aims for is less interested in power and more interested in originality and innovation.

This could be a good thing, that is if they decide to keep supporting the GC until then.

Thats what Nintendo keep saying, but I'm begining to wonder if such a market actually exists, or if its just something that Nintendo has concocted in order to justify being last to launch and with the least impressive hardware.

Truth is, originality and innovation are neither the sole property of Nintendo, nor are they dictated by hardware platform. Besides, that kind of sales talk never seems to generate lasting sales (initial sales are always fantastic -gotta admire those loyal Nintendo fans) or much developer interest.

I feel like history is going to repeat itself.

(And I'm still pissed off about them treating Europe like shit - we're a bigger market than Japan for chritsakes!)
