Heya,

I wired a supergun for MVS stereo, An AT circuit on each pin.

I noticed that when wired, the Left audio port (wired to the Speaker- pin) would output normal sound on a Mono Jamma PCB.

I tried it with about 4 boards. It worked on every one.

Should this work with all boards?
Could you blow shit up?
I didn't have enough boards to try it out. I know some supergun techs (D-Lite!) have TONS of boards.

If the -speaker outputs attenuable line sound, then there is no need for a Stereo/Mono Switch right?

Just wondering.

MVS stereo set up, speaker - is ground

JAMMA speaker - is connected to pin L which is not ground (usually) see the difference between a stereo and mono (bootlaced) output stage here.
Check out the connections between pins 7 & 12 of the HA13001.

But what I'm saying is:

If you attenuate the speaker - of a JAMMA PCB, It outputs Line level sound.

Yes, but audio line level is 1 volt peak- peak so it all depends on the volume pot setting.
