I know thjis isn't technicaly Neo-geo related but you guys seem to be using the same parts... so please bear with me, and if you can help me i would really appreciate it!

Ok, so i rescued a Versus City cabinet from the garbage the other day... it seems to be in rather good shape (cab only, no PCB's of any kind in it) and it has the monitors in place. so i was thinnkig of getting it back to Jamma operation. but one look at the power suipply dashed that dream, it was so crosswired it wasnt even funny... and from the burn marks on the boards lets me know it is toast.... but i keep creeping back to those monitors, every test i can run on them says they should work fine... the problem is i have no idea of the pinouts too hook up a new power supply or to rig up a system to run mame on them...

does anyone know anything about these cabs, i want to save it as a mame machine, any schematics/ user guides or just plain knowedge would REALLY be appreciated...

thanks in advance,
sorry for the spelling

ok, sorry... i didnt mean to break any rules...

i figured mame, becaure of the condition of the insides, lack of power supply and my limited funds it seemed the only thing to do with it.

Hey is this the same cabinet that's been showing up on ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6176955884

You could actually put a 2slot MVS in the cabinet for not much more than a J-Pac (if you have a pc to use, or A LOT cheaper if you don't).

same type of cabinet, but that aint mine, mine is in MUCH worse shape! and i am looking for something top do with it, so any ideas are appreciated...

And i dont know why you guys are so down on mame... i only run the games i own roms for (25 at last count) and doesnt it emulate some Neo-Geo games?

the only other problem i could see with that plan was that i dont think this cab is Jamma compatible anymore... no power supply and half the harnesses are cut! unless i can find a manual to repair them, i am stuck with nothing more then a box with 2 29" monitors!
