MVS GAMES WITH PHOTOCOPY LABELS.

Hello everyone in NEO land,
Just wanted to ask a stupid question. Maybe this is no big deal. Why is it that most of the games on EBAY have photocopy labels? Are these a sign of a bootleg MVS Cart?
I am wanting to get MAGICAL DROP 3, but I was afraid because it had a photocopy label and I here some of guys here on the forum talk about a problem with bootlegs.

Can anyone here investigate this? I really truely want to get Magical Drop 3.

People put photocopied labels on for a few reasons like:

JP label and they want to be able to read the label
Messed up or torn label
They like the way the custom label looks
They made the cart-Boot!


Just be careful and ask around - if the seller is Yaton on ebay - go ahead I bought one as well and all is ok....

Do not judge a book by it's cover :D

Nope, James Yao (Yaton) just has a thing for making MVS labels.

Often times, exporters will remove the serial numbers form the lable. I believe this is to prevent tracking. Collectors really want those carts to look pretty for some reason and many will add labels to improve the appearance. Othertimes, people will buy the less expensive japanese cart and put an English lable on it so they can read it.

Yeah you got no worries with Yaton. I've had a Magical Drop 3 off him and it was an original, just like all the other carts I've had off him.
