marquee light not working

it's on my sf cab (blue cab in sig) which uses the 18" tube bulb. The bulb hasn't been used enough to go bad.....and the wiring hasn't been touched. If it is the actual fixture and not the wiring or bulb...how much do they run? Any ideas?

First check the cheaply replaced starter in the housing....its a little silver or white cylinder that twists out. Replace that...after that it could be the transformer which is not worth replacing....go to Home depo or Lowes and buy the under counter flouresent set up...think they go for $10 to $20 bucks.....I hard wire them right in.
