I went scavenging today since my street had an annual garbage day where everyone is allowed a free sanitation pickup of all hard-to-dispose items...ie TV's refridgerators, desks, etc. Sometimes the stuff they throw out still works, it may just be obsolete/unneeded.
Anyway, I pickep up a curious monitor, Compaq Model 450. It has five BNC (female) jacks for R, G, B, white (comp. sync?), and black (gnd). It is dated 1993 and I thought that it may be a non-VGA monitor, perhaps one like the commodore rgb monitors of old which do 15.75khz interlaced.
I have been unsuccessful in finding information online, my only relevant google return was a swiss auction.
Since commodores weren't the only kind to do full color rgb in TV style i thought there it might be a chance it could work with my supergun on which I am working. On the negative side, I do realize there is a chance that:
1. it may, in fact, be broken
2. it could be cga or ega (although i've never encountered one with bnc jacks)
3. it could be vga after all
Any help greatly appreciated
