Ok, this is what I know so far
1. Cab started being "touchy" about how I close the coin door, it would reboot the system if I wasn't gentle. Seemed to be alright otherwise, so I didn't worry much.
2. I turned it on this last weekend and got some odd flashing on the screen, and I noticed the credit counters on the control board were flashing on and off as well.
3. Opened the control panel, flipped it on, same deal.
4. Moved some carts around and reseated them all....worked normal.
5. Closed the control panel.... back to flashing we go.
6. Looked inside and finally grounded the 2 green wires that were hanging out before. Its a wood cab so I tried to tie them together and use a screw set in the wood to act as the ground...... still flashing
Thats pretty much were I'm at... I was too hung over to work on it any more than that...but I'm going to mess with it again tonight after work.
It seems like the control panel being open and moving the carts have the biggest effect. To me it seems like a short, but this is my only cab and its the only issue I have had so far. I don't smell anything burning, or hear any popping....but something electrical is going on right?

???? Unless I misunderstood....wood cant be a ground. You would have to ground them to where other green grounds are....even if you made them longer. Check the bottom of the cab and see where the other grounds are......I have a bunch grounded on a metal plate that all the PS stuff is.
