Hi all,

I just recieved a Neo Geo Home Cart system, and I am having problems. I have it all hooked up and ready to go. I turn the Tv on and set it to channel 4 and turn the Neo on. I get an extremely fuzzy signal (as if I am on the wrong channel, but I tried that) and it flickers. No sound. I've tried everything - Cleaning it, messing around with the RF switch, changing the channel, etc. I think it must be a problem with the RF switch. What do you guys think? ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just kidding. Where did you get your system from? Are you sure everything hook up correctly? Have you tried to change to channel 3 instead?

1. Make sure all the connections are tight.
2. Try a different a/v cable.
3. Make sure the RF is set to channel 3.
4. Try a different TV.

Good Luck

Sounds like an RF issue... I would deffinatly, not use an RF, a Neo Geo deserves the ablity to run on a A/V tv set. Could also be a "PAL" euro unit, hence not displaying correctly, and looking a bit black and white when you do get a signal. (They can be converted if thats the problem, its just aposiblity, Im not sysing thats what it is)

Dreamh2o's right. Maybe you have Euro system. Have you thought about the user error issue?

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the replies you guys. It turns out, Dreamh2o was right - I bought AV cables and tried them out, it works great.

Thanks everyone.
