Best part of the review:
Though SNK's new package of Metal Slug 4 & 5, the two most recent entries in the series, does not command the same cache of cool that owning a functional NeoGeo home system or, even better, a stand-up MVS arcade machine does, it makes these throwback titles much more accessible

I would have appreciated better if the reviewer had played the games in their original forms and had known why these ports have that "extremely pixelated visuals" instead of assuming that they are "arcade-perfect ports". Hint: It's called "fake low res presentation".

I thought that comment implying 2d games are the equivalent of Latin was pretty good, but sad. :crying: I'm gald he respects it for what it is. It's hard for me to imagine people not loving MS games. :conf:
