Help a WoW noob...

So, I installed this game and started playing an Orc Warrior on Medivh.
I wandered too far from the village and got killed by a fucking crocodile.
Then I made the mistake of going somewhere where all the surrounding wildlife was high level and can kick my ass by sneezing, and also made the boo-boo of making that my hometown. I have no idea how to get back to my point of origin, so I'm gonna start over since I've given the sorcerer bitch 25% so many times my Orc is poor, broke, and quite lonely.

Where do most of y'all play so I can hook up with you guys?

WoW takes a while to get used to but the best way to do it is solo yourself to 15. No groups at all.

By then youll have explored Mulgore, got to Thunder Bluff, all that good shit.

I play on Shadow Moon. But shoot me a mail sometime, I can make a new char and help you level up.

The first 5-8 levels are so easy to get it's not even worth thinking twice about just deleting and starting over. Just do all of the quests at first for the easy experience, plus the equipment you get which is the best you can get for those first few levels. And pick a profession as soon as you can (level 5) to start pulling in a bit of cash. What profession you pick will usually depend on the class you choose, though.

What class are you doing, anyways?

I play alliance on Dalaran and was thinking of going over to playing horde on Icecrown because a couple of people I know wanted to start a guild there.

Once you decide on horde or alliance let me know, and if you pick playing horde on Icecrown I'll help you out when I start a new character.
