Hello,

I need some help, with modding a mega drive,
I wanted to build a RGB out for it, and connected a cable to the R, G and B IN of the cxa1145 it has on the motherboard, additionally to c-sync, ground and 12V - and put that all to the TV.

I get a picture, but it's really dark, I can hardly see it on the TV.
does anybody know, if it's wrong to connect RGB directly to that chip,
and where I could find the correct RGB Out to get the pure signal from....

thanks

You need to amplify each line. The Genesis is known to have weak RGB.
But I am sure the real experts can tell you more indept.

i though it was the other way around the genesis had too stong of a rgb signal.
to get it to work with the neobitz board i had to add some pots set to around 65 ohms. the turbo duo needs to have the rgb amped.

I dont get what you are trying to do.

Are you in Europe?

Just buy an RGB scart lead.
