my lufia 2 and secret of evermore for his samurai showdown 2, so i sent the stuff to him and he said they were unacceptable, but we talked about the condition of the things before we shipped, and now he is just sending my stuff back. if anyone can vouch for him let me know, but i think he's a jerk for taking back the trade.

thanks for looking at my pouting

Ok here's what's up:

I'm getting Neo Turf Masters in one package and and bunch of others in another. The neo turf masters hasn't come yet. The sender waited and extra week before sending and he didn't tell me that

Oh yeah and WE DID NOT TALK ABOUT CONDITION OF THE CARTS! Here's the ENTIRE e-mailing session:

Me:
Hello! Would you like to trade your Lufia 2 for SNES for a Neo game? I could
trade you either of these:

Samurai Shodown
Fatal Fury Special

Mr. Bergh:
i am currently bidding on a samurai showdown, do you have any other games
you would trade for lufia 2?

Me:
hmmm
i suppose i can trade samurai shodown 2 if I can get Lufia 2 and either
Final fantasy 3 or Secret of Evermore

Mr. Bergh:
is that the only other game youd be willing to trade?

Me:
Sorry that's all I have. Samurai Shodown I and II and Fatal Fury Special.

Mr Bergh:
ok, i guess ill trade lufia 2 and secret of evermore for your samurai
showdown 2.
thanks

{address of Mr. Burgh}

Me:
ok i'll have it out tomorrow
will you too?

{My Address}

oh and does you SNES games have any boxes/instructions?

Mr. Bergh:
yes, i will get it out tommorow, and no im sorry they are cart only

Me:
ok then!
i'll tell you when your stuff arrives.

Me again:
Hello.
Received your package today...
I'm going to send back the games and have my stuff be redirected back to me,
unless you already have it. The label condition of Lufia II was unacceptable
and even together with secret of evermore not worth my samurai shodown II.

Mr. Bergh:
ok, thanks alot ass :-P
we agreed on the trade, i told you they were the bare carts!
ill never trade with you again. jeez

Me:
i asked if you had box and instructions and you said no they were bare
carts, meaning to me that it was cart only. I traded because the value of
the 2 snes carts were the same value as a samsho II cart. Without the label
it loses most of it's value.
bye.

END E-MAILS

That's it. Do you see anything here about condition? Secret of Evermore looked OK but Lufia II (the valueble one) Had NO label whatsoever, just "Lufia II" written on the cart. I would say in this case he should have no problem taking the games back because the value is way out of balance.

If something small like the cart label mattered that much you should have asked what kind of condition the cart itself was in. I always ask that in a SFC trade. Not asking though and backing out when you get it is not cool.

I disagree. You should state what type of condition it's in before you send it out. Not telling about the condition, when it is something major like that is hiding the fact that there is something wrong with it. Of course someone is going to say something about a ripped label, I mean cmon.

i did state that the sticker was missing in an email to him, it was in the same email that said whether they had boxes or not, why would i try to give someone something different and in worse condition than i had previously stated? that would just be plain stupid.

Lord, perhaps we had a missunderstanding. One should always state the full condition of an item as Jonnah says he did. I agree w/ you there, but if webmeister had any more questions though, he should have asked. If he knew the condition up front he shouldn't have rejected it. If he had more questions or doubts about the condition he should have asked.

BTW the games are on their way back.
And you did not state that the label was missing at all. but what's done is done and now we can all return to our lives.
