Famicom console question

Well, I posted this question in the official famicom thread and got no response, so sorry if it's redundant:

Is there a way to play 8 bit famicom games on a 16 bit SFC/SNES?

Yes, though I've never done it. There was a product that pluged into the cartidge port and sat on top of the system made by Bung. They also made one for the N64.

They were sued by Nintendo a few years back and are no longer. I'm sorry I can't find pictures of the unit. If you look around the net I'm sure you'll come across some.

Thanks for the replies. I found one thing but it's prohibitively expensive and sounds kinda junkie at that. Better to have two consoles.
