I use shoryu-reppa.

1.Shouryu-Reppa-I like it for the pure power and decent anti air

2.Shinryuken-very very short horizontal range, but a killer of an anti air

3.Shippu Jinrai-Kyaku-Very popular and i cant see why, please enlighten me.

SA3 is by far the best for linking and canceling, my guess is thats what gained it so much popularity.

Shippu-Jinrai-Kyaku has a good range, therefore it helps you control space in
the match. It also allows for three stocks of super meter, allowing you to do
EX's before you actually connect with it. It's also easy to combo with most
of Ken's arsenal of moves. Very dominating super art IMO.

SA3 is the best. Jorge stated why, but I'll state why the other two aren't as good as it:

SA 1 - Only stocks 2 meters, and the extra damage it does compared to a meter of SA3 isn't worth being cut a whole meter (not to mention the bar size is bigger). EXs are an option, but you have to be careful not to burn it so quickly. Also doesn't have the range that SA3 has. You can c.mk SA3 from any distance that the c.mk hits and it'll combo, not the same with SA1. Also, this is not a "decent anti-air." In most cases if you use it as such the opponents will juggle for only a few hits and the damage is laughable.

double :spock: :spock: . Most of my moves with ken are anti air, im not too mujch a combo person, just an anti air punisher, shouryu-reppa is teh roxx for sheer power anti airing.

Do you deep anti air with it or something? SA1 should only be used in combos where it's verified and guranteed to get all the hits. If you hit them with SA1 as an anti air, 9 times out of 10 you'll get 3 hits beacuse you're being juggled. Besides, you can always parry it if you're jumping in. No big deal. If you want to anti air, do a kara srk and double up on the damage. I bet it takes off more life (or really fucking close) than a fully connected SA1 used as an anti air.

crossup jMK, cMK, dp+HP, qcfx2+K, thats the one i like to combo with, not huge damage but still nice enough. and you can do it trice since youve got 3 bars. i really should order this gamefor my ps2. playing it once every vacation is not enough.

I like it for pressure also. Like cross up jMK sMP fMK/BMK (they usually crouch guard its hilarious) then just link qcf x 2 K.

Also, like jHP, mp, hp, HCB kk then qcf x 2 K.

Tons of uses, its a bitch to parry so its good for chip damage, you stock a pissload of ex's since its 3 stocks, you get a ton of rewards and a shorter build since it doesnt do much damage. Its not supposed to anyway, that DM is for annoyance.

Dont bother doing a hadoken after a cMK, do a dp to qcf x 2 K sa cancel.

I'm fond of the EX moves and choose to have 3 stocks of super meter to use them more advantageously. I don't use supers often (usually only if I know they'll connect, which is seldom) and rely more on the basics of the engine.

Most people including me do a DP then cancel into the SA3

I'ts popular becuz it has 3 stocks and a very small bar so it charges up quickly and it also is the most cancelable super he has.
