Me gotz a question.
I have a 2-Slot board in my possession that is *supposed* to have the MC reader attached but doesn't. Before I get responses stating that one of the three 2-Slot revisions does NOT have a memory card reader, this is not one of those PCBs. This particular unit actually has a spot for it (including all solder points/pre-drilled holes). It is lacking the (2) IDE interconnect sockets that are present on the "readerless" 2-Slot PCB. I can shoot some pictures of this unit later.
back to my question:
Anyways, since the MC reader only uses 30 or so active lines (the rest are ground), can, say a MV1A be wired with the memory card reader? How about the 1C? Or the 1B? Or do the boards that are *capable* of interfacing with the MC reader (2-Slot/4-Slot/6-Slot) have special circuitry?
Thanks,
Kpj
