Is this a good PSU for a supergun?

That's a LOT of amps. It should work, but you might want to slap a fuse on both +5 and +12 lines.
And with a computer supply you probably don't need to worry about a line filter. Hell, most PSUs are fine without it.

As Dlite said, rather more max current capacity than you need. (you can never have too much within reason)

That psu would work fine for a supergun.

I'm running my two slot by way of a free pc powersupply. Haven't had any problems and runs great.

Don't you have to jump some pins on the ATX motherboard plug to make A PC power supply work?

An AT psu should come with a power button. An ATX one can be powered on by shorting two wires (one is any ground) that come from it to and are attached to a connector that goes to the mobo.

We don't run into too many AT PSU's around here.
I thought so, Just never bothered trying to use A ATX power supply to run A SG.

So all I'd need to do is take one of each of the wires (+5V, +12V, and ground) add a 10amp fuse to the +5V and a 2amp fuse to the +12V to be on the safe side, then split each wire up to its correct pin on the Jamma harness.

Also do I need to split a ground wire to use for the inputs?

Sorry for all the lame questions, I'm a software guy not a hardware guy.

Yeah that sounds right. I don't even have my consolized 2slot fused.

I would suggest to get at least 2 wires for ground, one for each end of the JAMMA harness. The inputs will already be using those ground wires, no need for extra ones.
