Well, we see the questions everyday and I've decided to start my own supergun building page/walkthrough.

http://www.multimods.com
http://www.multimods.com/sgun.html

I'm going to go into some pretty good detail on the process, based completely on my own experience which is developed on all the great info we have here, at SGR, and elsewhere. I figure this is a good way to pay back the community a bit and I'll have acknowledgements up there when I get it all squared away.

So far I have some done the materials page, and I'm working on Tools and encoders. I will be taking pics of a supergun in progress as well as modding Saturn controllers.

I know a lot of this has been covered before, but I want to do a very comprehensive study, including where to get stuff and different options for assembly.

And I really want to have people's opinions here! Please, tell me if you see misinformation, gaps in the process, or whatever!!

Good idea...

Good idea, especially the parts and materials section... because the hardest part for me is the handiwork.

My next SG may be of a control panel type, and I dread the possibilities of working with metal as opposed to plastic since I have no experience.

I've spent more time reading about superguns today rather than study for finals :(

I did a bit more today, specifically on the Case modification page. I need to take pics while making one now.

Thanks I will likely make a thread with a few remaining questions before I set off on a summer project.

This was something I was eventually going to get around to doing, but being lazy like I am...

Haha, and hopefully I get around to eventually finishing it.
I should call it a walkthrough and not a website since that what it really is. SGR is a supergun website, this is only an example of building one.

Dean, I have some papers I wrote and stuff on making a supergun that I used for my science fair. Todd has mine from last year (well I sent it to him before...). Remind me sometime down the line and I'll send it to you, maybe it can be useful.

Great idea! I'm actually considering attempting to build one this summer.

How different than your instructions would it be to Consolize a 1Slot?

Hey nice work D-lite, looking good! I'm thinking of building a supergun once I've finished consolising my 2-slot. It'll be cheap and chips for me because I'm in the uk and don't need a video converter board so it'll just be a load of wires and sockets in a box! I don't really need one, just thought it'd be cool to do and see if I can get it working ok.

Looking forward to seeing the finished guide :buttrock:
