Pick your favorite game from each year.
Start as early as you’d like.
I got my dates from KLOV.com cross referenced those with my noggin (they've got some mistakes on that site). Click on a title, and then the year to view all games released that year.
1983: Penguin Kun Wars
1984: Karate Champ Player Vs. Player
1985: Fantasy Zone
1986: Psycho Soldier (Oh, Athena, if only you had better controls you could be better than yourself)
1987: (Oddly enough, I haven’t played much of many from this year… Wonder Momo? Contra? Heavy Barrel? Black Tiger? Fantasy Zone 2?)
1988 – Ninja Spirit
1989 – Championship V'ball (Japan version released in 1988, heh. Cheater. Otherwise, I'll take Strider as a backup).
1990 – OutZone
1991 – Captain America and the Avengers (crappy shooter stages)? What a let down year. Someone help me out.
1992 – Karate Chatan Yarakuu Shanku
1993 – Gaiapolis
1994 – Wind Jammers
1995 – Samurai Shodown 3 :spock: (seems like I'm missing something)
1996 – Osman (Crazy Hard Year. Osman is a very personal decision *looks at Twinkle Star Sprites).
1997 - Magical Drop 3
1998 – Radiant Silvergun (by the way, Klov has Psychic Assassin Taromarou listed as a JAMMA game – are they full of it again?)
1999 - Guwange
2000 – Super Monkey Ball (need to play more Ikaruga)
2001 - Gunbarich
2002 – Gamshara
