We all know that Duo's have sound problems, but I recently purchased my old one back off the guy I sold it to and where as before after a few minutes it would cut the sound out, however I had Gradius 2 on for hours today and not a problem? This system has had regular use, so any idea's what could have 'cured' this? The guy who bought it off me said he never had any sound issues either.

No friggin' idea. I have a couple of loose Duo's that tested out PERFECT about 6-8 months ago. Tried them both again recently and both had no soundtrack from the start when testing the 3-in-1 disc.

That sound issue perplexes me. When I get all my other projects to a happy point, then I plan on diving into this issue.

I have one here that the sound issue (quiet) is only with the redbook audio. CD games play fine, with quiet music. HuCard games sound perfect.

I'm stumped too, but the fact is, if the fault is going to be found, D-Lite is the Duo expert. :glee:

I recommend buying a Duo-R or RX and forgetting about the crappy original model. Regular Duos suck. My Duo-R is bomb, no sound problems whatsoever!
