Not a shmup, but I often dream of the Splatterhouse on there.

SInce you own a marty, you must track down a copy of Truxton. It is two players and has hardly any slowdown when the screen gets full of enemies and the skull bomb.

Dunno about quality, but I did go a bit Marty nuts a while back before deciding against getting one, did find ther were:

Rayxamber (only version I believe)
Flying Shark
Raiden
Tetsujin Oh / Truxton 2 (only home version)
Scavenger 4 (hardly a real shmup tho)
A.W.S.O.M.E (psygnosis shooter from Amiga)
