An Idea to make the USA kof 2k legitimate...

I have seen Nick th fury post a scan of the insert on his site. What does everyone think about this.

Someone out there edit out the NGF logo on the insert, Very very professionally. Then upload the insert in the HIGHEST possible quality, No matter how big the file size is, 20 megs ect. I have webspace from a fast apache server if anyone needs it.

Upload it in the EPS format, And everyone that bought Dion's cart save the origional insert somewhere, And take the EPS file to a printer shop, And get that printed out.

And wallah, The US cart without the NGF logo, That looks just as good as the origional insert. What does everyone else thing about this?

Since I think alot of the people that won't accept the legitimacy of the cart is becuase the NGF logo is on it. I know i'm sorta one of them.

Hell If I could get the cart without NGF's logo on the insert I'd probly buy one.
I mean damn couldn't they have setteled for a text url in the booklet somewhere? That's what most other companys do...

What the heck are you thinking man? The people who bought Dion's cart are the ones who wanted the actual package, the "first-print" release of the US KOF2000 AES game. Everyone can make great copies and homemade inserts, but this is the original one. I am sorry to say that there are too many posers on these forums.

I was saying for OTHER people that won't buy Dion's cart because of the NGF logo like myself (And 20 others I can think of) WOULD buy it if there was no NGF logo on it.

You can still keep your "NGF" insert for the cart, But If I could buy it, And know I could replace it with an insert that doesn't have the NGF logo I'd feel alot better.

BTW I hope your not calling me a poser, I am certainley not, And am not going to resort to name calling back at you, My 6th grade phase was over long ago...

Then proofread your post before putting it up. Your original post specifically calls out to people who have purchased Dion's cart. As for posing, if you are going to buy a game from the original source, then modify it and still call it original, you are a poser. This would be the same as taking Jeff's wonderful Metal Slug manual, modifying it omit any mention of Jeff's name in it, and then still calling it original. Why even buy the English version if you are going to change the original? Just take the scan, modify it and put it in your collection for your own personal benefit.

Forget it man, I don't want to argue. Having the modified insert for your own personal collection IS what I meant.

I buy Dions NGF cart, I swap his insert with an insert I got printed thats in EPS format, YAY YAY I have the USA insert that looks just as good but without Dions ugly NGF logo on the back.

I save the ugly NGF insert so if someday I sell the cart I will have the "Origional ugly NGF" insert it came with.

Now what the hell is wrong with that?

You gotta admit man a neogeo cart with a NGF logo on it would be like a black man buying Jet Magazine with the Grand Wizard of the KKK on the cover...
