There are 3 of us in this all together right now. I figure I'd give it 1 more day to see if anyone else wants to join in.

Thus far, the way it'll work is that I'll receive the paypal payments from everyone, transfer that to my bank account, and send a money order via international priority mail. The postage on that is probably going to be just over 5$ plus the cost of the MO... split 3 ways it'll be a couple bucks.

I'll post the tracking number here for the payment sent and for the package when it's on its way.

When I receive the package I'll repackage everything and ship it out to everyone. I'll let everyone know how much that shipping cost was and that amount can be paypaled to me (keep in mind the there's a small percentage charge for paypal - I'll double check that).

For me to make a bank transfer to Queenie it costs 40$. I wouldn't mind saving myself 10$ right now to wait an extra 5 days or so. I'll let majority rule on that, of course. Don't be affraid to speak up if something isn't to your liking.

Nope, still open. The deadline will probably be as soon as everyone's funds are transfered to my bank account from my paypal account. I'm going to send payment right then and post a confirmation to everyone who paid me so they know everything is on the up and up. I imagine that will be 4 business days from now.

I think I only mentioned the details in private to the people already involved, but here's the full:

I'll receive payments via paypal (remember, 3.9% plus 30 cent fee)

Then I'll transfer those funds to my bank account (takes 2-3 business days)

Then I'll send a money order via international priority mail (I'll post the DC# online). Bank transfers cost 40$ for me to send to Hong Kong - there are currently 3 people in the order and we are going with a money order. If a couple more people add themselves to the order then we'll take a vote as to whether or not to send a bank transfer.

When Queenie at Cosmico receives payment and ships the package she'll send me a delivery confirmation number that I'll post online.

If that's true, I'm down for a second go at a "group order"

Take care that being a heavy and bulky item it's going to have its priced increased a lot due to shipping from Hong Kong.

I'm just wondering one thing, is it really worth it a group order by that many people?. With all my orders to Cosmicco, shipping prices have increased almost linearly acording to the number of carts/stuff ordered.

Yep, with 5 of us it's saving between 25$-45$. Fairly significant, especially for myself considering the PCB I wanted was under 50$.

Still, that's just over another 3$ each... more of an inconvenience than a shot in the foot. Regardless, I hope nobody's ticked.

I got my stuff today (Demon Front PGM cart with stickers, and MS3 MVS cart with stickers)... I saved around at lest ~$30 on the MS3 cart, considering this title sells for around ~$90 or so and I got it for $60 something... shipping was not too much since the cost was reduced equality.

I've bought stuff from users. I just haven't recieved the items so I can't post feedback yet. You can check my eBay feedback if you'd like. My username is crackercreations. The only reason I even said I'd head it up is because nobody else volunteered.

Stuffmonger would be a better choice though. As I stated earlier, being on the east coast is a bad thing in this case. This would raise final shipping prices for the west-coasters unnecessarily. I don't see any problem with a week and a half since it'll take longer than that to get money orders to you, etc. Once the list is posted I think whoever is organizing this thing should start a list of who wants what and who has paid what.

I want a 4-slot, MS1, MS2, MS3 and possibly some components. I haven't decided for sure on the components.

Say if the order is 10lbs and I order something that's 3 lbs, I'd be responsible for 3/10 of the total shipping cost. Does that make sense?

alright... if I'm not heading this up, I should give a little common knowledge about ordering from cosmico that I've been told. First off... any product with an asterisk (*) is a bootleg copy. Also... I have some info reguarding how to actually place the order and stuff for Lashujin... so Lashujin... pm me please if you would like to know how to go about placing the order... thirdly, there will aslo most likelly have to be a charge for making an electronic transfer of funds across banks... so, unless Lashujin is going to front that himself, that will also have to be split along with the shipping. Either that, or he can send a money order... in which case I wouldn't trust, as cash seems to get "lost" in the mail too easilly. That's all I'm thinking of off the top of my head... if I remember anything else, I'll post again...

Alrighty... well, I've been talking with Lashujin about the order, and I think we've come to the conclusion that I'm going to head this order up... So... Let's put a end of request date... next friday (june 10, 2005) will be the final day that I'll be accepting orders (I will e-mail cosmico with the full group order Saturday), after which time, I will give people the true amount of what they owe (including goods, shipping from hong kong to my house, and wire transfer fees) after I recieve the goods, I will take photos of each person's merchandise and pm it to them before I ship the stuff to them. After I ship from my house to final destinations, I will pm with the exact shipping charge from my house. As I said before, I'd prefer checks... I guess MOs would be alright also (since I now know that they also have a paper trail). pm me with orders if you'd like something.
