Rampaging-sloth is one of the best sellers ive ever dealt with. I bought samurai shodown 1 us off him a few weeks ago and it was so mint that i could smell how clean the game was lol. Excellent packaging too... Highly Recommended!

Call me naive (I'm new to the NEO and still learning) I thought that this game was worth more since it hardly ever shows up for sale. The price guide suggest $550 + for this one. garou_d I am not trying to insult you or anything by stating this. I am only trying to find out how i can tell what is a "FAIR" price for a game. I have seen it stated before that the game is worth what you (the buyer) are willing to pay for it. The problem with that reasoning is; just because I am willing to pay $400 or more for a game doesn't mean that it is worth that much.

I really enjoy playing my Neo Geo but this whole price thing has me a bit confused oh_no . I want to get Excellent Condition games because thats how I keep everything I own. I just dont want to cheat myself in the process.

Your rignt but about the JAPANESE version of MotW.
Common to find,even for less than $350 many times.

US MotW home cart is another matter at all.

Well actually US MOTW also haven't been selling well these days also,

I remember they use to sell for $650-$700 easy.

Since peole discovered MOTW is an overrated game, the prices have been dropping steadily.

A couple have been sold within the last couple of months, they have routinely sold for around $500.

one of the last us version i saw on ebay had a bin of 650usd from a guy in germany

and the auction had finished within about 6 hours

us version still will rake the money in even thought the Jap version doesnt

and yes the game is crap

No, the game is not crap, just overrated,

People would like to believe this is the best neo fighter, clearly its not. But its still a very balanced game with excellent visuals and controls.

Single ebay transactions does not dictate the pricing of a single game.

For the more experienced members in the forum, you cant sell it for more than $500.

motw have been falling on both fronts, Jap and US versions.

motw is one of few US/Euro games that are falling in price.
But like i said the game is overrated in price to begin with. Its now at a reasonable level

erm no

the copy i had for sale was what i took in a trade for my mvs cabinet

check the picture that i have in the collections - there are 2 garou's in the picture, i still have 1 for my personal collection

i'm a collector i have got to have most of the carts - just like i own all the world heroes, not a great series of games but i still have them

I´ve got some offers, but not in "near mint" Condition...

I remember a guy, who was asking USD 600,00 for an US MotW in good-condition, but that´s too much imo!!!

I wouldn´t pay more than USD 600,00 for a game, even if it´s still "mint"...

What do you think about it, i mean, Garou8 is a hell of a game!!!

OK it' s not the best fighter on the Neo, but the graphics are just amazing !! Garou has the finest animations I have ever seen in a fighting game, and dont dare to contra with Fatal Fury Special wink

The US version is now even more collector item.

Check out the jap MotW,now selling for around $370 or so from Neobomberman and quit complaining about prices.

No. Not for the US version that is. Ports and AES carts are absolutely INDEPENDENT because one is mass produced watered down crap, the other is a genuine original and collector`s item. Look at TSS: Two ports (SS.DC) - AES price? Still $700+. Interesting isn`t it? How come with such nice ports? tickled

About MotW: I`m sure - without knowing exact numbers that the ratio of jp vs. US carts is at least 5:1 if not 10:1. Hence no way you will snag the US ever for the price of a jp.
