Where can I get the list of the most played Arcade games in Japan through the years? I think the magazine Arcadia provides it.

The official arcadia magazine page, lots of info about recent arcade games, but unfortunately it's in Japanese; still using automatic translation you can figure out lots of stuff. For example this is the top arcade games (regular cab) in Japan right now:

1. Tekken 5
2. Gundam DX (is this the old Naomi game? )
3. Virtua Fighter 4 Final Tuned
4. Virtua Striker 4
5. Guilty Gear XX Reload
6. KOF Neowave
7. KOF 02
8. Insect Princess
9. Capcom Fighting Jam
10. ESPGaluda.

I'm still looking for the top10 of each of the last few years :eye: :eye:

Does anyone know of another database (besides MARP) where you can download game vids? The problem with MARP is that you have to have the same version of MAME as the game was recorded in to actually see it - and for everything I want to check out I haven't been able to find the correct version of MAME or haven't figured out how to run the particular vid.

Have you tried emailing arcadia? Maybe order a magizine from them and work it into conversation if you don't get a reply initially. I've broke down to do stuff like that once or twice.

I'm really like having a forum dedicated to just arcade machines. How long has this been around? I just found it yesterday...

Keep up the good work guys, I'm sure I'll be needing help in the coming months.
